Kenneth George Cole 89 of Ocala passed away on Thursday May 18, 2023 at his home in Ocala, Florida. Ken was born July 13, 1933 to Pauline Beatrice Cole (nee Day) and Gard Cole in East Orange, New Jersey.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 58 years Nora Cole (nee Minnis), daughter Linda May Cole Hoft, Brother Jerome Haigh, Sisters Lucile Just (nee Haigh), Mildred Cole Clark, and Valerie Cole Hupp.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of five years Gretta Cole (nee Beck); son Peter Andrew Cole (Robert Talbot), son-in-law John Anthony Hoft; Grandchildren Ashley Nora Hoft Autin (Tony Autin), Lauren Aileen Hoft Tyrney (Joey Tyrney), Andrew Kenneth Hoft; and great grandchildren Abigail Grace Autin, Mackenzie Anne Autin, Cole Kenneth Tyrney, and Cade Timothy Tyrney.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, beginning at 11:00AM at Ocala West United Methodist Church, 9330 SW 105th Street, Ocala, FL 34481. A burial service will be held for Ken and Nora on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754.
