Paul Anthony “Uncle Paul” Sacauskas

Paul Anthony “Uncle Paul” Sacauskas, 78, of Ocala, FL passed away May 23, 2023 under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Marion County. He was born on January 19, 1945 to Charles and Adeline Sacauskas in Chicago, IL. A truck driver for most of his life, Paul volunteered with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Foundation and Munroe Regional Hospital, was a member of the Ocala Boat Club, Ocala Power Squadron, and the AACA Kingdom of the Sun Car Club. He also enjoyed collecting lighthouses and loved spending time with his family. Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 Years, Elaine Sacauskas, brother Stanley “Stash” Sacauskas and his sister Bernadine “Bernie” Sacauskas. He is survived by his children Donna Ness and her husband Anthony, Kenneth “Bud” P. Sacauskas, Marie Salvaggione and her wife Angela, and Paula Roorda and her husband David; siblings Rose Kelly, Charles Sacauskas, Jr., Michael “Mickey/Murph” Sacauskas, Antoinette “Toni” Warren, Roberta “Bobbie” Hanegan, Leo Sacauskas, and Anthony Sacauskas; grandchildren Zach, Brendan, Kala, Robert, Jennifer and Jonathan as well as 5 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 12PM, on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Ocala, FL. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in Lecanto, FL charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in Paul’s name.
